Indy Eve returns to Civic Center Park

Bring your friends and family for this annual tradition that unites and celebrates the entire Denver community!

Presented by the City and County of Denver, in partnership with Civic Center Conservancy, INDY EVE is a free, interactive, all-ages event.

The evening kicks off at 5PM with music, food and shopping with Civic Center NIGHT MARKET, roaming circus performers, plus games and guided “make and take” art activities in the Family Fun Zone.
 
At 8:00PM the evening program begins with performances by the Colorado Symphony’s Brass & Percussion Ensemble, followed by United in Light: an electrifying LED circus spectacle set against a kaleidoscope of color, motion, and sound. Visitors will then turn their gaze to the sky for the evening’s finale – the return of a 300-drone show featuring iconic Denver and Colorado landmarks.

  5-8PM:Roaming performers from Circus Foundry  

  5-8PM: DJ CYN in the Greek Theater 

  5:30-8:30PM: Kids Art Zone with the Art Garage 

  8-8:50PM: CO Symphony Brass & Percussion Ensemble 

  • Includes INDY EVE Speakers and classic music in the Greek Theater.

  9-9:35PM: United in Light: Performance by Circus Foundry 

  9:40-9:55PM: Drone show 

  • Best vantage point: Civic Center’s Great Lawn and South Lawn. Launching above the Greek Theater.

Event Details

Roaming Circus Performers and United in Light performance: Enjoy all the magic and wonder of the circus right in Civic Center Park! Roaming stilt walkers, jugglers, and hoola-hoopers from Circus Foundry will bring joy to your evening. The number of circus performers will increase through the evening and come together at 9 pm for an electrifying LED acrobatic and aerial show that will be joy and wonder to all. 

Kids Art in the Family Fun Zone: Civic Center Conservancy is excited to partner with local nonprofit, Art Garage Denver, to activate our Family Fun Zone with tons of 4th of July themed make-and-take art. Kids of all ages are encouraged to create.

DJ CYN: Throughout the evening, you’ll get your groove on with DJ CYN who will spin every thing from classic rock to today’s greatest hits.

CO Symphony Brass + Percussion Ensemble: INDY EVE is thrilled to have CO symphony back in the Greek Theater performing classics for all to enjoy.  

Drone show: Bright Flight closes out our evening with 300 drones showcasing landmarks of Denver and Colorado. This awe-inspiring show lights up the sky with specially curated designs set to music.

Attendee Information

Entrances:

  • Main Entrance: Broadway between Colfax and 14th Ave.
  • Secondary Entrance: Colfax and Bannock (entrance in front of the McNichols Building) 

The park will be fenced to ensure the safety of attendees, and individuals will be subject to a security screening at all designated event entrances.

Please be sure to view the lists of permitted and prohibited items below to make entry as quick and easy as possible.

Road Closures

    • 14th Ave. between Bannock and Broadway will be closed from 6/30-7/6 as part of the AEG Concerts and Indy Eve.
    • 13th Ave. between Bannock and Broadway will be closed on 7/3 from 6pm – 10pm as part of the Indy Eve Drone Safety Perimeter
    • Sidewalk closures requested on West side of Broadway between 14th Ave. and 13th Ave, and on the East side of Bannock between 14th Ave. and south of 13th Ave.

We highly recommend biking, public transit, or ride share for arrival to Indy Eve.

The park will be fenced to ensure the safety of attendees and individuals will be subject to a security screening at all designated event entrances. Please allow enough time and follow the rules below for the quickest entry into the park.

Permitted Items (all subject to search):

  • Non-glass empty water bottles (can be refilled at water stations on-site)
  • Small water-only hydration packs (empty) – subject to search
  • Cloth bags, soft packs (12” x 17” x 12” or smaller) including backpacks – subject to search
  • Clear bags permitted – subject to search
  • Food for personal consumption. All food items must be in sealed packages or must be in clear plastic containers (one gallon or less). Fruit and vegetables must be pre-sliced. Plastic or compostable utensils only.
  • Blankets
  • Low-slung, collapsible chairs not in a bag are permitted for those unable to sit on the ground. These are subject to search.
  • Collapsible wagon and/or stroller(s)
  • Non-professional cameras
  • Service animals (performing tasks for a person with disabilities)
  • Medications
  • Sunscreen (creams and pastes, no aerosol)

Prohibited Items

Note this list is subject to change on the recommendation of the event security team.

  • Pets of any kind except service animals (performing tasks for a person with disabilities); assistance animals (emotional support) are not permitted.
  • Coolers of any material or size unless for medical necessity
  • Framed backpacks
  • Large purses, bags, or backpacks
  • Weapons of any kind including pocket knives, pepper spray, or any objects that could be used as a weapon
  • Fireworks, sparklers, or smoke bombs
  • Generators
  • Megaphones, air horns, musical instruments, or amplified sound equipment
  • Glass of any kind (except for eyeglasses & sunglasses)
  • Grills, gas, propane, or open flames
  • Laser pointers or LED projection lights
  • Drones, remote-controlled planes, or cars
  • Balloons, inflatables, or kites
  • Balls, frisbees, or sports equipment
  • Professional recording equipment or tripods
  • Bikes, skateboards, one-wheels, unicycles, roller skates, inline skates, or scooters
  • Markers, pens, chalk, stickers, or spray paint
  • Cigarettes and any tobacco products, including vape pens
  • Illegal substances, marijuana, marijuana products or paraphernalia
  • Outside vendors, unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways
  • Furniture and anything that requires staking in the ground
  • Umbrellas
