City Beautiful Circle
With unrestricted annual gifts of $1,000 or more, City Beautiful Circle donors provide leadership that strengthens the Conservancy’s operations and continually raises the quality-of-care Civic Center receives.
The City Beautiful Movement flourished during the 1890s and 1900s to beautify and add grandeur to American cities through architecture and urban planning. Mayor Speer was a champion in creating Civic Center as part of Denver’s City Beautiful movement.
Each giving level is named for the park’s loveliest trees. The park’s signature tree found at the south end of the park near Bannock is a Bur Oak.
