Host an Event
The Conservancy is the City & County of Denver’s independent non-profit partner charged with keeping Civic Center, including the park and the McNichols building, active and thriving for all.
Are you interested in hosting a public* event, large or small, in Civic Center? The Conservancy can be your partner to help navigate the complexities of the various required permitting processes, supply lists of vendor contacts needed to run your event, advise on best practices for inclusivity and accessibility, and be a thought partner to have a successful event.
Please note: Interested groups can work directly with Denver Parks & Recreation, Denver Arts & Venues, and the Office of Special Events to have their event in Civic Center and do not need to work with the Conservancy. However, those that do will not get the aforementioned support and services from the Conservancy.
Want to work with the Conservancy? Please fill out the form below to help us know more about your event. A Conservancy staff member will then follow up with you to learn more.
*Note – Currently, Denver Parks & Recreation does not allow organized sporting events/tournaments, special occasions (private, by invitation only but with no paid admission, like weddings), or admission-based special occasions (private, by invitation only but with paid admission) in Civic Center Park. The Conservancy only supports Public Events (free and open to the public) and Admission-Based Public Events (paid ticket required for entry that the public can purchase).
In the meantime, you can begin to look through some of the permitting requirements and event planning information put out by the Denver Office of Special Events and Denver Parks & Recreation below. Know that Conservancy staff can help you better understand and navigate these processes and requirements, should we work together.
