Day of the Dead Parade & Festival is a community event put on by Viva Colorado where every culture, race, or religion is welcome and remembered. Día de los Muertos first exhibition began in 2014 at the Mexican Cultural Art Center, and a year later was moved to Fairmont Elementary School with the purpose to promote Mexican traditions and cultures. The event raised $5,000 in donations which were used to create art programs such as : papier-mâché, artistic masks, paintings, sculptures, murals, self-esteem, confidence and healing. Until this day we continue with our mission and provide the community with free programs.

Throughout the years, this event has impacted so many communities and united different cultures. This year won’t be an exception. We want to invite you to be part of the Day of the Dead parade and festival, Saturday November 4 from 11:00AM – 8:00PM.
