OUTSIDE FEST 2025 VOLUNTEER LIABILITY FORM

I, the Participant signing below, understand that the program or activity I am participating in is held in a public park operated by the Denver Department of Parks & Recreation (DPR) in a program sponsored by the Civic Center Conservancy.

I further understand that the program or activity may involve the risk of physical injury, illness, disease (any of which could lead to permanent disability or death), and/or property loss or damage from foreseeable or unforeseeable circumstances. I recognize and affirm that it is my personal responsibility to consult with a physician before participating in athletic or strenuous activities or receiving health or medical services or treatments and to secure and protect my property from loss or damage. I hereby expressly assume all such risks described above that may occur to me arising out of or in any way related to the program or activity I am participating in. By signing this Waiver and Release of Claims, I waive and release any and all claims, demands, actions or other liability rights I may have against the Civic Center Conservancy, its partner providers, DPR, the City and County of Denver and their officials, employees and agents for any injury, illness, disease, and/or property loss or damage arising out of or in any way related to the program or activity I am participating in.

Further, I hereby give consent to the Civic Center Conservancy to use photos and/or video of me for use in public relations and/or media purposes. I understand that the intended use of such photos/video is for advertising, marketing, and public information purposes or promotional purposes surrounding the Civic Center Conservancy. I hereby waive the right to or interest in the photos/video or the confidentiality of the content disclosed to the public, as contemplated in this release. I acknowledge that this consent to use the photos/videos is being made solely for the benefit of the Civic Center Conservancy for advertising and promotional purposes without any expectation of compensation or other benefit to me. I hereby release and forever discharge the Civic Center Conservancy and its operating subsidiaries (including without limitation all corporate affiliates and officers, directors, trustees and employees) from any and all claims, liability, actions, suits, demands, costs, expenses or indebtedness arising out of, related to, or in any way connected with the use of the photos/videos and I hereby waive all rights and interest in such photos/videos.
