DESCRIPTION:Join us for a powerful evening of storytelling from the newest members of the Colorado Refugee Speakers Bureau. This event centers refugees’ voices in recognition of World Refugee Day 2023. Speakers in this newest cohort come from Afghanistan\, Ethiopia\, Uganda\, Democratic Republic of Congo\, Ukraine\, and Vietnam and bring an incredible diversity of lived experience and stories. Come to listen\, learn and be changed by this event. \nAdmission includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and heavy appetizers from local refugee and immigrant chefs. \nThis event is co-hosted by Lutheran Family Services Rocky Mountains\, International Rescue Committee\, ECDC/African Community Center\, and Colorado Refugee Connect. \n\n\nWe strive to post the most current and accurate event information\, but changes and cancellations do occur\, so please check the official event website to confirm all details before attending.
